Rapid Shape and exocad introduce a direct integration that connects case design to print preparation, extending the one-click workflow to exocad users.

Heimsheim, Germany / Darmstadt, Germany, September 14, 2026, Rapid Shape GmbH, a leading manufacturer of high-precision 3D printing solutions, and exocad, a leading provider of dental CAD/CAM software, announced a direct integration between exocad and Rapid Shape’s RS Print Studio.

This integration enables dental professionals to send cases directly from exocad into RS Print Studio, removing the manual export and import steps that traditionally sit between design and print preparation.

Connected Digital Dentistry Workflows

The exocad integration presents a one-click philosophy: a dedicated Rapid Shape Print Studio button inside exocad that sends the case straight into RS Print Studio, ready for print preparation.

The connection works automatically with RS Print Studio (version 1.2.2.1131 and above.). At launch, automatic workflows are supported for Model, Crown, and Bridge cases, with further indications planned for future updates.
