Rapid Shape Print Studio expands its Equipment Compatibility and adds New Denture Workflows
Heimsheim, Germany, July 07, 2026 – Rapid Shape, a Germany based pioneer in the manufacturing of high precision dental and audiology 3D printing solutions, today announced the release of RS Print Studio v1.3.0.
The update brings added printer compatibility to the slicing software and introduces a new application specific workflow for denture base production (flexible), alongside a set of usability improvements across the platform.
Rapid Shape Industrial Printers are now Fully Supported in Print Studio
Rapid Shape’s industrial printers, including the D50+, HA50+, D90+, HA90+ and D100+ are now fully integrated into RS Print Studio, giving dental and audiology labs precision printing within the same guided, CAD-integrated workflow used across the company’s printer range.
New Denture Base Flex Workflow
Responding to rising demand for flexible denture base applications, Print Studio v1.3.0 introduces a dedicated Denture Base Flex workflow.
A matching Denture Base Flex support style is built into the workflow. Labs can move from design to print without manually adjusting generic settings for flexible materials.
Additional Improvements for RS Print Studio Slicer
Beyond these headline features, v1.3.0 includes several refinements for everyday use:
- A combined worklist and archive view, with one click switching between the two
- New sorting for both worklist and archive, by name or date, ascending or descending
- A new Flat (Outbox) pose option that calculates a part’s smallest outbox and automatically places its longest side towards the platform
- Updated resin parameters for more accurate starting points across supported materials
- Refined splint support scripts for improved part stability
- A fix for a minor bug affecting the archiving function
